Toshibas range of televisions continues to impress by combining just the right amount of features and performance, for good value prices and with the familiar Toshiba quality and reliability, and the 32LV713DB is no different.
Finished in an stylish gloss black design, the Toshiba Regza 32LV713DB has a thicker frame than many LCD televisions on the market today, but it doesn’t look unattractive as a result – in fact it gives the TV a quality look and feel before you even turn it on. At an overall size of 578mm high (on the supplied stand) x 799mm wide it is slightly bigger than other models around today, but not by much.
The Toshiba Regza 32LV713DB is a Full HD 1080p model, which is perhaps a little bit of overkill at 32” screen size, but consumers are demanding it, so manufacturers are supplying it – we all want to make sure we are seeing every detail after all. And you will have no reason to expect nothing but the best in terms of picture sharpness with the Regza, especially with the ‘Active Vision’ processing system giving you high quality, high definition images, by making the best of, and improving, all the important elements of the picture.
The Toshiba Regza 32LV713DB is well supplied with connection options too with three HDMI sockets, one of which is handily placed at the side, as well as component inputs, optical output and standard phono audio inputs, and two scart sockets. There is also a USB input at the side so you can view your photos on screen as well as watch videos and listen to music.
The built in Freeview is a real benefit of the television, and whilst it’s not the Freeview HD we’ve all been waiting for, it does at least mean you can enjoy digital television without having to purchase an additional box.
What to consider before you buy the Toshiba Regza 32LV713DB LCD Television
Not a cutting edge television by any means, it is lacking some of the latest features such as any support for 3D – although we would not have expected this at this price range. It is also only 50Hz.
