We’re now approaching the time when electronics brands start to bring out their new 2011 models, and we’ve already had exciting news from all the big brands like Sony, Panasonic and Samsung to name a few. We’ll start bringing you all the details of these models over the next few weeks and months so watch this space.
In the meantime, however, if you are looking for a new Blu-ray player or home cinema system, this is a great time to buy.
The truth is that the current batch of Blu-ray players such as the Sony BDP-S370 and Panasonic DMP-BD65 are already very good, with features such as built in Wi-Fi and 3D technology already included. The latest top selling home cinema systems like the Sony BDV-E370 and Panasonic SC-BT230 are also pretty loaded with features, so although the improvements for 2011 are very welcome, they will not be as groundbreaking this year. We’ll instead see a more thorough spread of the tech across the ranges.
What this means for you is that if you aren’t too bothered about the latest enhancements, then you should be able to get yourself some pretty good deals as stores start to sell of the stock ready for the new models.
Keep checking the pricing tables on the website for the models you are interested in and you should start to see prices drop. If you see fewer stores selling the item though, that is a good indication that the stores are already selling out, so better buy quickly!
