Confused by jargon? Home Cinema Buyer and LG can help!

Home Cinema Buyer and LG demystify the jargonMany people, even those who have taken a vested interest in home cinema, blu-ray, lcd and plasma televisions will have no doubt have become confused about some of the jargon used at some point. Indeed, one of the main reasons Home Cinema Buyer was set up was to help people get to grips with all the acronyms and terminology that is used. Well, LG Electronics have announced two new consumer and trade initiatives to help.

They have conducted independent research that, as we suspected, revealed that nearly 4 in 5 UK households are confused by jargon associated with TV purchases. To help with this they are launching the new ‘LG Xperience’ which is a 20ft trailer kitted out with the latest LG TVs and it will embark on a nationwide consumer and retail education roadshow to help ‘demystify tech terminology associated with the TV industry’. Starting on the 5th to the 18th June at the Lord’s Cricket Ground during the Twenty20 World Cup, it will help educate consumers on everything they need to know about the jargon and the impending digital switchover.

If you can’t make it to any of the tour destinations, an interactive LG Online Buyer’s Guide (www.lge.co.uk/tvguide) has been developed to help support LG’s education tour. Of course, buy viagra online 25mg there will always be independant buyers guides here on Home Cinema Buyer to help you make the right choice.
