Panasonics latest stand alone Blu-ray players, the DMP-BD60 and DMP-BD80 have both received rave reviews and are two of the best Blu-ray players you can buy at the moment. The Panasonic SC-BT100 intends to bring that level of quality and performance to a 3.1 home cinema system, and with its impressive feature set it stands a good chance.
Firstly we’ll start with the looks, and in typical Panasonic style, they’ve gone for the more understated look that fans of the brand are used to and appreciate. The combined Blu-ray player and amplifier has a fairly featureless front panel, and apart from a great big volume knob on the right hand side manages to look sleek and modern. At 328mm high and 121mm wide, the front speakers are quite tall and thin but still capable of outputting a respectable 250W (RMS). The centre speaker is a similar size but is 301mm wide so it can be positioned lengthways as near to the screen as possible. The subwoofer is obviously much larger at 181mm wide and 361mm high but should still be easy to position in your room.
The player itself comes fully loaded with the latest Blu-ray profile and is capable of 1080/24p so you can see the latest high definition movies exactly how they were seen in the cinema. If you are watching a standard definition DVD though, you’ll be please to know that the SC-BT100 will upconvert the signal to 1080p.
In addition to HDMI and Optical connections, the player also has a socket for a wireless terminal so you can optionally add the Panasonic SB-HS100 rear wireless speakers at a later date if you wish. Where the SC-BT100 really comes into its own though is the inclusion of a iPod dock which allows you to play back music, photos and videos, and control them all from the screen, making this a real cutting edge home cinema system that should live with your for many years to come.
What to consider before you buy the Panasonic SC-BT100
3.1 doesn’t quite provide the full immersive surround sound experience in the same way that 5.1, and although you can add a couple of extra speakers later, it is an extra buy clonazepam online overnight cost consideration.
Why you should buy the Panasonic SC-BT100 Blu-ray Home Cinema System
The performance of the system, combined with all the very latest features such as Blu-ray and full iPod connectivity mean that this is a system that will not need replacing for many years, and makes a great future proof buy.

Panasonic SB-HS100 Additional Wireless Speakers for SC-BT100
Panasonic SB-HS100The Panasonic SB-HS100 speakers will connect wirelessly to your Panasonic SC-BT100 Blu-ray home cinema system to give you the full 5.1 surround sound rather than the original 3.1 surround sound.
Because the speakers are providing the surround effects rather than the full audio assault of the front speakers, the Panasonic SB-HS100 wireless speakers have a slightly lower power output at 125W (RMS), but still provide ample volume for even large rooms. The speakers have a detachable stand so they can be mounted on a shelf or the wall, as you see fit.
This is a great system like most Panasonic systems are. This is going to be a big hit as it looks great, will be a great system, and of course the best bit its not hgot a hudge price tag.
