Panasonic TX-P37X10The Panasonic TX-P37X10 Plasma television offers improved flicker control and deep blacks for a very affordable price.

Like most Panasonic screens, the TX-P37X10 is an attractive plasma television with its thin black frame giving it a conservative and subtle style, and an overall high quality look and feel. The bottom of the screen houses the wide speaker with its V-Audio Surround sound feature giving an improved clarity and bass as well as virtual surround sound effects. To the side of the television is a very useful addition of a HDMI socket as well as RCA phono sockets and S-Video if you need to connect older equipment to the television. Round the back of the television there are an additional 2 HDMI connections to enable you to connect a Blu-ray player and games console as well as component inputs for an additional games console, and two Scart sockets for other devices.

The wider viewing angle offered by plasma is enhanced by the impact resistant anti reflective screen on the Panasonic TX-P37X10, but it’s biggest advantage over other plasma televisions is the new 100Hz double scan feature meaning that even fast moving images look much smoother to the eye and is a big improvement over 50Hz. The dynamic contrast of 2,000,000:1 ensures that images look dynamic, yet lifelike. The Real Black Drive system ensures that black levels remain that way and do not get muddied into dark greys as are often seen, and that highlight scenes remain white and crisp.

The Panasonic TX-P37X10 also has the added benefit of a built in Freeview tuner to really help you get started viewing quickly. Owners of Panasonic Blu-ray players will be pleased to know that the VIERA link will enable operation of both devices by using the one remote control, and even better news for owners of newer Panasonic Lumix cameras is the ability to be able to connect the camera to the TXP37X10B and control playback via the remote also!

What to consider before you buy the Panasonic TX-P37X10 Plasma Television

Whilst this model has built in Freeview, FreesatHD is unfortunately not available on any of Panasonics current 37″ Plasma range.
